Grace Deck Protector Vs. ice and Water
Does anybody know if there is a difference (other than width of roll!) between Grace Deck protector and Grace Ice and Water / Vycor?
I just never bought the Deck Protector product and have plenty of Ice and Water at hand.

I think Vycor might be slightly thinner. I've always used I&W because of the same reason, I have had it on hand.
Thanks man...
I know Vycor is thinner, thus causing less of a bump out behind window and door trim, just wondering if there was any considerable difference in the actual material/properties. I'm 99% sure it's all the same, just wondering if anyone knew otherwise.
been using it for some time.. i think it sticks better than ice dam, realy good to itself when you don't want it to.....
If you do a cost-per-SF comparison that might lead you in one direction or the other. I have used Deck Protector and the (slight) advantage over Vycor is that it has the pebbly texture of I&WS. I would use whatever costs you the least, they will all work fine.
Ice & water is 60 mil.
vycor and deck protector 40 mil.
Basically same product, if you want to rip into strips.........
Good luck,
Mclaren
Yeah Ive always used Ice and Water / Vycor, just never bought the dedicated deck product.
