Is there any reason not to use great stuff foam sealant to seal around pex where it comes through the bottom plate of a wall in a house on piers? If i should not use that, how should i seal?

A bit open ended of a question.
Different brands have different rules.
Uponor has certain firestop caulks that can be used to maintain warranty, but I haven't heard about expanding foam limitations.
When in doubt wrap the pipe with tape or approved sleeving material before sealing with foam.
Thanks. I am using blue and red zurn pex from lowes in a wood frame house using pier and beam construction. I would like to seal around the holes where the tubing enters the house through the bottom wall plate. I have great stuff that i intend to use on all other holes, and am concerned that the chemicals in the foam may not be compatible with the pex.
Hey - how about a modern plumbing book called The Joy of Pex?
It could work -
