I am looking to buy a new benchtop planer for a rough cut trim job.  I was researching the Dewalt 13″ and the Makita 12″ planers last night, when I ran into the grizzly home page and started checking out their planers.  I have been trying to find reviews on the G8794 12-1/2″ planer and G1017 12″ planer.  I was wondering if one of these will work well for a couple of years.  I plan on building a larger shop this spring and upgrading to a floor model.  If anyone has experience with these grizzly models in particular or grizzly equipment in general I would appreciate hearing about it.  Once again, thanks.
