I just finished grouting a large walk-in tile shower
and need some advice from someone with more experience.
The lady of the house (my wife) wants to start using
the shower right away. However the sealant instructions
recommend letting the grout cure for a few weeks before
applying silicone sealer. She says “do it later”.
My concern is whether or not sealant will adhere to the
grout joints after they’ve been exposed to soap & etc.
I’m reluctant to make her wait any longer than necessary,
due to the fact that we’ve been using a “temporary” rig
in the utility room for over a year.
Am I going to regret giving her the green light?
