My handtruck wheels slowly loose air through the rim.
I want to try Slime but I wanted your experiences using this product for handtruck wheels.
If this does not work well, I do plan to get solid tires. For that matter, how durable is polyurethane tires?
Thank you to all in advance.

air handtruck tires must be the most cussed tire in the world... you never really know one is low until you load it up... they suck:) but yes slim works... I buy the stuff in the gallon jugs at walmart... mainly got it for the split rim tires on my dumptruck but have since used it on everything that leaks...
northern tool and harbor freight have the tubes for the handtruck tires for about $3ea they work also
p
Yeah man.
Good stuff that slime, I have it in my wheelbarrows, my hand truck and my lawn mower.
I accidently hit a spike with Grant's boomlift a few weeks ago, took out the sidewall of a pretty beat up tire full of old plugs. It also had a lot of slime in it, but the gash was fatal.
When theguy came to swap out the tire with a brandy new one, I scooped out what slime I could get from the old, with a coffee cup and transferred it to the new, just as insurance. It ain't cheap.
Now the tire guy had some stuff that they sell at S&S Tire, he said would have worked even on the sidewall blowout, but it was 65 cents an OUNCE, and this was huge tire, it would have added quite a bit to an already exp. day.Spheramid Enterprises Architectural Woodworks

If you have the money, go to Big-O and have them order you a foam tire. It will never go flat, yet will perform as a pnumatic tire would.
Thanks to all replies. I don't know Big-O but I did see foam tires in Harbor freight at reasonable price that is close to my rim size.
I plan to try Slime anyway for future reference.
Does the wheel have 4 bolts in the hub? If so that is a tube tire. Northern Tools has the tube for about $6.
I had the same problem with a pressure washer tire and the tube fixed it.
