I’m about to put up lattice skirt under my porch. Porch is attached to ledger on house and outer corners sit on concrete block piers, so I have to somehow hang it from rim joists. Am considering hinges on bottom edges of rim joist or on back of rim, or dropping 2x’s from the back of the rim joist to which to attach lattice panels. Have to have one hinged section for access under porch. Height ranges from two to nearly three feet. Will use sections no wider than six feet. Is there a standard or common way to deal with this situation? I’d appreciate any ideas. Thanks.
