I’ve been asked to replace some fascia around a client’s home. The fasica was starting to bend at the ends due to age. Once I removed the fascia I found that the soffit t&g boards are rotten at the ends and pulling away from the multi layers of 1×6.
Any suggestions/comments?
Thanks

I think it's time for new soffit boards.
Update
Part of he problem that might not be evident by the photo is I think the soffit boards extend into the wall maybe 2" - 4". Yet to be discovered. The roof use to be wooden shakes and the owner changed it to ashpahlt singles. The roofing job was not steller. The roofer overlayed plywood on the 1x6's and the 1x6's extend approximately 2ft beyond the wall that make up part of the "hard soffit" (not sure if hard soffit is the right term).
Considering that the stuff is probably 40-60 years old, the condition is not that bad at all. I don't see anything that demands wholesale replacement.
