What do you have as a subfloor?
Hardwood floor squeak
I presume you do not have access from below without some involvement. If it is between two end pieces I have heard that working talcum powder into the crack, sometimes works. The other solution is face nailing a 2 to 2 1/2 inch ring shank finish nail on an angle, sinking it just below the surface and filling the hole with a matching shade of filler.
Mouse traps.
i would have to say your best chance, unfortunately is face nailing and coloured wax. try to nail in the darker areas of the wood grain cuz the dark wax will blend away better
Trim screws may be a better bet.
or trim screws. and u should pre drill lest it will split
Try talcum powder in the cracks first.
The type of fix depends on what is causing the squeak. There are about four different causes.
