Just wondering if anyone could provide feedback on the performance of White Birch srtip flooring. Customer is supplying 3 1/4″ x 3/4″ White Birch flooring. A friend told them they would hate it that it won’t wear well at all (infact he said worse than Eastern White Pine).
The freind is a “professional flooring installer” that they did not buy the flooring from.
I have installed 1000’s of feet of Red Oak and Hard maple and feel the birch should perform just as well I would just like to dispell his rants for the customers sake.

According to this chart it is softer, about like soft maple or cherry.
