My client wants a grayish type stain on new quarter sawn white oak. Finding it tough to find this color stain in inerior stains. Cabot has all sorts of colrs in deck stain and they are meant for foot traffic. Anyone have any thoughts on using this product inside.

It be fine inside. But inside stains ( not UV tolerant) would be a bad thing outside, w/out uv protection such as Spar Varn.
You mention foot traffic, you realize you STILL ought to have a protective finish over the stain inside? Can be flat, or satin..but don't rely on just the stain. You may want to thin the outdoor deck stain with the appropriate thinner, even tho it says do not thin...and top coats of finish should start out as gloss ( harder) and can finish (last coat) with less sheen if desired.

Yes, I am still polying the floor, just forgot to mention that. But I went to Cabot site, and they now have custom tintable interior stain as well, so seem like problem solved. Thanks for the reply though.
I think that most companies have pickling stains.
