Just wondering i have this job coming up soon and we have to install hardwood floors. My partner says that we should install all the interior doors first and then lay the floors around the door jambs, but i said then we may have to cut or notch our flooring where it goes into the door openings. I think it will be easier to lay the floor and then put in the doors on top of the floors. It is 3/4″ thick flooring and we will still have enough room in the rough opening if we install them on top. My question is what is the common practice in this situation? Thank you
