hi, i’m building a house comprising a structual slab for the basement. it happens to be located in an area that sees a high watertable from time to time and is designed to account for that as best as possible, (xypex in the concrete, paraseal lg under slab, baumanite surrounding penetrations, superstop at cold joints, paraseal and enkadrain for the exterior walls and a good drainage set up around the perimeter). hopefully moisture won’t be an issue. just in case, i’d sure appreciate knowing whether there are extra precautions i can take when laying hardwood over the slab. what’s the best method for doing so? the entire basement, along with the rest of the house, will have radiant heat laid in under the floors. it’d be great to go with solid hardwood. thanks for any input. thomas

thanks mr. micro, i'll do that.
hmmm, one of the rooms in this basement is 20'X40'. the literature says that some rooms are too big for a floating type floor. anyone know anything about that? looks like a good product though mr. micro.
