Hey guys , I put down a 3/4 in. solid t&g hardwood floor and now I need to make floor registers out of the same matirials. I have not seen any info on this subject so your help will be much appriciated.

I saw some Floor registers that were setup for tile.....
The way they worked was you thinset or glued strips of tile on to the register and ran grout lines sealed it.... the whole bit. The gimmick was you could also remove it whole and in the pictures I saw there wasn't much to differentiate from the finished floor.
I think this would work much better with wood, as you would be working with a solid piece and cutting holes/slots in it as opposed to bits and pieces of tile.
The problem is I can't find that link... I hate it when I misplace /forget something...

If you are referring to the registers with the little lever and the fins, they are available already. I think 'WoodGrill' or something like that. I put them in my house and I love the flush floor. Around $38 each. Yeah, not cheap. Groove on all sides.
Do a Google for wood registers and it should come up. There are also ads in FHB
