Took a jaunt thru the local HomeTeacup today and saw the infamous battery catch box where all the cordless batteries are suppose to be placed to be recycled properly.
Being anal I had to look see and opened the hingedtop to find 15 old dewalt batteries(some looking like they were new)and one beat makita battery.
Then I noticed the front door was ajar. Well I figured I’d gone this far and wasn’t hurting anything so I opened the front door of the box also.
More Dewalts and one old Black&Decker.
Sure seemed like a lot of yellow Dewalt batteries in that catch.
I’ll stay with blue.

Could just be the yellow users are more prone to protect our enviroment than the blue guys.......................
You're almost as paranoid as the people that're trying to kill me.
Or the yellows are such great long lasting, durable, well designed, consumer friendly products that everyone desires to buy them and hence there are so many more used batteries out there to be in need of disposal.
Or maybe the Easter bunny and Santa Claus use the return bins to hide Batteries they will be distributing on thier respective holidays.

I can't afford to be affordable anymore
Maybe they had already put the other colors of batteries back on the shelves to be sold as new.

That'd be funny if it wasnt true!
Hi all,
It would be interesting to see how many of the dewalt batteries were the xrp's or xr's and their voltage, and how many of the batteries were from the newer compact dewalts which I think just have a plain battery no xr or xrp mark on them.

About 6 years ago I bought a "nice" wooden stanley 4' level from the dildo. As soon as I got back to the job I found it wasn't plumb. So, I took it back and returned it...yea you guessed it as I was looking at the other levels I watched the stock guy put the one I returned right back in the rack! I complained to the pro-desk but barely got a shoulder shrug.
Yea I notice the same thing.
