    *FINALY! You guys had me twistin' in the wind all day there. By the way, it's probaly one of those cultural differences, or maybe a translation thing from French, but we in the English speaking world would call that a "board". A "stick" is something else, altogether.And from the evidence presented, I'd say Ron was totally justified in clearing a place to set his beers - what was he supposed to do, stand there holding them?

    *About a year ago I was painting the inside of a house. There was a guy doing some trim work (which I was supposed to paint). He got a coped piece all cut nice on the chair rail but for some reason he had to wait to install it. He asked if I'd prefer that he tack it up or leave it down. I said leave it down and I would put it in the empty kitchen cabinet after I primed it. He cautioned me to not damage the cope.The next day it was gone. The homeowner went through cleaning up and tossed it as scrap!Rich Beckman
