My cardiologist has suggested I have defibrilator implanted in my chest.
In my research, Certain tools should be avoided and others used only
from a distance due to electrical interference. I would be devastated if
I had to give up my lifelong relationship with my tools. Have other
readers encountered similar problems?

My aunt got one a year or so ago. Said she only had to avoid my uncles arc welder.
She feels 1000% better now btw.

I have one as do my kids. The only thing that really changed is that I lost my new Chainsaw, (That one really hurts it was a new Stiel ) no working over running car engines, no arc welding, no MRIs. The one other thing they warned me about is large stationary power tools & if it was ever a problem, they would send out a ICD tech to check it out.
As for feeling any different, you don't, but you will be amazed at how many times you bump that part of your body, stays sensitive for years.
Hope this helps some.

No one should regard themselve as "God's gift to man." But rather a mere man whos gifts are from God.
