Hello to ya! First post & all. Go easy on me!
Just wanted to say Hi to you all. I’ve been in the trades for the better part of 35 years. Started as a shingler around the time that Senco came out with their staplers (early ’70s) for roofing and it’s been downhill ever since. As in I woke up one day and knew that after five or six years of Certainteed and other products it was time to get down off of the roof. Been doing anything and everything else since. Carpentry- finish mostly- i’ve lost count of the doors that I’ve hung, even a few pocket Baldwin locksets. Plumbing-set many toilets w/out a leak. My better half jokes that I’ve got a short attention span. Anyhow just wanted to say HI.
Regards,Bob

I can see why you changed jobs -- being a shingler and going downhill is not good.
