I about 500 Sq Ft of 16×16 rough slate down on a residential job and I am having way more trouble than I am used to cleaning up the grout. I have put two coats of sealer on the tile prior to grouting, and I am using a margin float to hit just an inch around the joint. (I am not spreading the grout across the entire tile) BUT I still am having a terrible time getting the grout off without leaving a stain on the tile. Any suggustions would be welcome.
