Can anyone help me identify the molding in the attached picture? It’s all over our greek revival house and I’m trying to see if there’s a name for it. Specifically, the molding at the edge of the casing jogs out at the top on either side of the window/door. I’ve been searching around on the internet for examples of it but as you can imagine that’s tough to do when you don’t know what it’s called! The best I could find is the picture attached.
Thanks!
Jed.

It's not a specific type of profile, but rather a technique known as "crossette" or "dog ear casing". Hope this helps.
Thanks very much!
If you're asking about the molding along the outer edge, it's called a "back band".
It's a separate piece that's applied after the flat casing is done...buic
PS google "dykes lumber" for their online molding catalog

That is not a specific molding, but a molding style (way of using it) that is called dog-eared. It can be done with several different moldings.

Dog ear is also waht we call it. Made all the interior door and window casing for my in-laws house with CYP 1x4-1/2', and applied shingle mold - still looks good.
