Hi,
Just finishing up the demo on my bathroom and a couple of issues have sprung (is that a word?) up.
1) The PVC toilet ring, that the toilet bolts to, one of the bolt channels as cracked, not too sure what to do about that. The floor is slab if that has anything to do with the solution.
2) The shower drain assembly, PVC. In unbolting the the section that connects to the drain 2 of the 4 bolts have sheared off. Can I fill the cleared bolt hole with putty the drill and tap 4 new holes?
Any and all assistance welcome plus any tips on a bathroom remodel.
Thanks so much,
Mike

Replacement parts are made to repair your cracked toilet flange. Check out this website for ideas. Not sure about your shower drain though.

ya lowes and HD have the parts they can be pricey though 15$ for that iron ring that goes on top.
A Ram Bit will work for the toilet flange. Use it to drill out the broken flange assembly from the fitting and then replace it with one of these with a brass or stainless flange.
