help needed with mansard valley flashing
I have never flashed a valley like this. Part of it is straight and then it flares with curve at the bottom. After I&W shield I was imagining a V flashed valley and then step flashing the V through the flair. I have two of them. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Arthur

You'll have to cut your valley into short pieces to make them fit thru the flare. We normally cut the largest piece that will fit without floating too much and install it, nailing thru the top. Then come down an inch or so below your nails and solder or rivet a metal cleat across the top of the valley piece. Flat lock the next piece of valley to the cleat and repeat until you get thru the flare.
