Greetings – I am looking for a data piece on laminated flooring. Attempting to comparison shop for a first time experience of putting in the laminate floor. Need to read more data on which is better for what reasons.
Does anyone one have a comparison table or is there a Consumer Guide on flooring???
Thanks – new to this and installing a floor.

Tigger,
Welcome to Breaktime!!
If you click on your name above (where it says "To: Tigger2"), you will open your profile.
We would appreciate it if you could fill some of that in, especially where you are located!!
Thanks!
I would address the subject of your post, but I've never installed a laminate floor. The one time a customer wanted me to I talked her into a prefinished wood floor and two years later she is still thrilled.
While you are waiting for responses you might try the search function and see if you can find some previous threads on the subject.

Another day, another tool.
You could try posting your question here on the FloorMasters board. These are all flooring pros but very newbie-friendly.

It could be that this is the place. No test data stacked up in excell formatt, but reall world experince, etc mean something. Say why you are sold on laminates and where the floor will be installed for more extensive addvice. You don't want this stuff in a bathroom or location withexcessive water
I have only doen three lam floors. They are generally below the budget level of my customers.
But althree were succesfull - brand name escapes me now. Started with a M or W from Germnany. Click type. Good wear, appearance, and almost no telegraphing.

Need to put down a floor while still living in the house. Not going into the bathroom - living dining bedroom and kitchen.
