Not sure if “foil” is the proper name for the plastic film used on cupboard doors. Anyway, a corner has peeled back slightly – courtesy of a toaster.
Can re-application of gentle head – hairdryer on low – allow smoothing or will it only make it worse?
Assuming the above is the way to go is this material glued to the base material as well? What kind(s) of glue?

I believe it is called thermofoil. never tried to fix it. maybe a little contact cement? Is it just curled back, or is it damaged?

Thanks for replying.Foil has curled back so it is short of covering the full surface. Tried gentle heat from the hairdryer - it softened the material & I smoothed it somewhat. Biggest problem now is it is short of complete coverage. I asked at HD & paint dept said bring in the door; color can be matched by computer. Bought a can of suitably tinted melamine paint. Will give it a go. Only good news is that the defect is barely visible when door is closed.
