I am working on a commercial site and have to deal with the estimating and installation of FRP. Is there a need for any special tools or installation techniques the I need to be aware of?

Fiber Reinforced Plastic?
Fiberglass reinforced panels. Uasually the white textured panels installed in kitchenprep areas.
Hmm. In the same boat. I know how to put it in, I was just looking for a time saver when it comes to the adhesive. Are you dealing with stuff that's already backed or just the panels themselves, and what are you going on to?

Make sure you can get and include all the appropriate molding pieces you will need - panel edges, joints, inside corners, outside corners are all different.
Consider what you will do at the floor - my pref is cove base, but many are possible. Just plan ahead so your moldings stop at the right spot to avoid gaps behind the base between them.
Use the appropriate glue - spread, press, flash off, press again. Spring boards for stubborn spots. Plan your attack to avoid getting glue on front of panels.
Thats all I can remember. Hope this helps. Rich.

What is considered thr right Glue?
Will contact cement (like for formica) work also?
I have a project in mine also using FRP.

FRP is the only material I've ever had a problem with because I didn't let it aclimate to the environment. Presumably it wouldn't take very long, since only the temperature should be relevent (not moisture content), but I carried it in and slapped it up. The next day there was a huge bubble that wouldn't go flat for even a moment.

Another day, another tool.
A few years back I installed a small commercial serving area with these panels. Keep glue off face of panels-hard(not impossible) to remove immediately. Glue vapor very flammable read no smoking. If memory serves use 3/16" toothed trowel tospread glue. Use glue rec'd by supplier. Another post mentioned the corners, seams, and related arch. accessories. Material lays out like wainscot. Use fine tooth blade in jigsaw to cut. Order extra for the inevitable uhoh. Check with the supplier for solvent to kinda clean tools before next use, plan on throwing them away when done.
