I have recently ventured out on my own as a carpenter. Thus far I have been doing mostly small jobs, recently a friend asked me to give him a price on a double car garage.Does anyong have a rough idea on what the square foot cost would be-I’am a little nervous about the price I came up with just because its the first larger job that I have worked on.Also, I was reading the discussion on bids and proposals and some spoke about 15% profit and overhead being calculated,is that calculated on both labour and material? The garage I was refering to will be a slab on grade, double doors, no windows. Thanks
