Any recommendations for invisible deck fasteners for cedar atop pt joists? I see many fasteners require a biscuit slot or continuous slot cut in the decking. Seems to me that’d be a great place for rot to get a toe-hold.

just did this with 1x1 cedar ripped from some of the rougher 5/4 planks. Pre drilled with my 13 hole drill press to give starter holes. Used 1 5/8 decking screws up into the decking. The screws came with the correct bits to drive the screws but a long square drive from senco worked better. You need to pre drill to prevent splits.
It is time consuming to do but looks fantantic!!
