Hi all;
I am new to e-breaktime but read it in my fine homebuilding each issue. I have been a subscriber and avid Remodeler for years. About a year ago I read an article about hidden (or at least less visible) soffit venting. I am having trouble finding the article. any suggestions? I am adding a new entry with T&G pine lid and don’t want an ugly ventstrip. I prefer Something a little more elegant and custom to show that a little pride and care went into the project instead of just looking for quick profit.

There is (or was, a few years back) a combo drip edge strip and vent.
RS 400 was in there about 6 months to a year ago. It looks nice because it is right behind the fascia but its a little pricey.
One thing you can do instead is where you would be the RS 400, use the metal webbed drywall corner. If you nail that up before the fasica, then put up your fasica and soffitt (3/4" from the fascia) it will do the same thing at much less money. You can spray paint the piece black before putting it up to make it near invisible.
