Was just sent a link to this house. So well thought out and executed, whether the style is your cup of tea or not. Impressed the hell out of me. It’s a French site, so the automated google translation is a bit odd at places. Click on the video link…it’s worth it. Required RealPlayer.

I neither have nor want real player.
Do you have a better link ?
: )
The person you offend today, may have been your best friend tomorrow
Definitely my esthetic cup of tea, but what an incredibly interesting home and concept.
I really like the swing out dining table. The whole "mobility" thing could have very real applications in designing homes for the physically impaired.
Also, the use of natural light to create subtle color changes within the space. Whether intentional or accidental, the mix of light and shadow provided a real sense of depth and shape throughout the monotone structure.
I only wish I had paid more attention in junior high french class.
BTW, I sent this link on to a friend at the Archeworks school. http://www.archeworks.org/ I think they would be very interested in this. Thanks for the link.
I doubt anything in that house was by accident!Luka, no other link, sorry.
Hey Cloud, ever read or see Roger Dean's books?
He's the guy that designed the Band Yes's('s's's?) album covers and has done lots of other interesting, organic archy designs..."If 'tis to be,'twil be done by me."
Yup. Saw a house design by him. Liked the one in this thread better. Dean's house had everything toooo built-in. I like variation over time. In the house here, so many things were moveable, and that was cool. I've listened to a lot of Yes though. :)
