Hilti TE-3CX vs Hilti TE-C Carbide Bits
Hi,
I am getting ready to do an earthquake proofing job and will be drilling about 50 half inch by seven holes in a foundation wall. The access will be tough so I am willing to pay a premium for getting the job done quicker.
I looked at the Hilti concrete bits and was curious whether anyone had experience with both the TE-3CX and TE-C carbide bits. The 3CX costs roughly 4 times what the C does but only Hilti only says about a 30% longer life. Bottom line if it drills a heck of a lot faster -2x or so it might be worth the money to me. I was curious if anyone has experience using both and what you would recommend.
Thanks,
John
