And the marriage [of (5) years plus (2) kids] goes to damage control.
Today’s modern woman. Working with children. Dominant and over bearing.
Judgemental. Likes to keep score. Can talk the ears off a brass monkey.
Problem? Another love less “yuppie” marriage with all the trappings.
Solution.. he moves into the spare bedroom, because he’s a bad husband.
Uncle Dan-O to the rescue..I’ll find my brother a new wife right here at Breaktime..
C’mon gals..any lookers..this guys good, just needs to be hooked up right!
Drinks on me and keep ’em comin!

*Gee, she sounds like a real helen wheels ... ooops!Jeff
*she sounds like my exwife- only nicer.I got a damn fine sister-in-law that would be a "catch" in anyones book. She has a great personality...
*Things are clearer now that its afternoon. That early morning clarity could be my un doing.Zap this foolish thread!Argh!
*Dan-o, I think it's safe to say that there will always be trouble if you boys marry outside the family.
*Boy howdy there Helen Wheels,When I read this thread later today..well,I was sorry to have submitted it. Oh well, trouble you say. That is something I can talk about but won't to stave boredom. So who are you? The new post feminist "Breaktime Bossy Boots!" Wait a second..hell on whe...been lurkin' in the gun thread..keep yer head down!Happy New Year
*Dan-O Couple of questions before accepting that drink. Will I get to live in a 'warm' state? Does SHE keep the kids? Do I hafta work? Can I have a new kitchen? What size pick up does he have? Is there a Ross nearby? How about Target? Do I get the credit cards w/my name and his billing address? Is there a seafood market nearby? I'm sure I'll have more questions later, but we can start with these.LOL
*Dear Adele,Thanks for the reply. Comic relief, yeah baby!!!I'm in Vt., he's in N.H.; cold? We love heat.If you don't work..how will you fill your time?Dunno on da kids. What's Ross. Isn't Target a clean Wall Mart?No prob on da $$$$ and $ea food! ha haDan-O
*Dan-O on this subject, this highly opinionated person is going to sit in the lounge chair and watch this one ...:)
*Uh, Dan-O, I used to like you...........You know, being in a second marriage and always thinking I was the victim, I now realize it takes two to tango.....You don't really want the feminist opinion, do you???? Or should I say, another opinion....
*...Go for it, Pi......Interested......Newf...
*I just want to know how many of you cast of characters have ex's. Who has been married more than once? And does anyone ever own up to being the shithead in the marriage that f-ed it all up? I'll start...married 35 years, together for 45(yep since 15) never cheated, never tempted. No counseling, no throwing things,no fights. Never go to bed mad(but always early).
*In a second marriage, married for 15 years in the first one, hated every minute of it.....Got out of first marriage(judge said I wasn't chatel, husband said I was).......Two beautiful children from first marriage......More to come.......I still say there are two sides........
*I cant say about marriage as this is my first but I came close a couple of times and they were some very nice ladies who to this day sometimes wish I married instead of the wife (glad she dont read this) and I was the sh--head who caused the brake up .
*I think that "Two to Tango" thang is over rated. It's a cop out. It's like 'no fault' insurance. Like, I dunno, it just didn't work out. Now, Pi, if you have, say, a perfect circle into which you try to fit a square peg... does that mean the circle isn't perfect anymore?
*Ron, I too am on my first...and I plan on keeping it that way.I can count my blessings that I was saved from myself in that I didn't marry those other girls, even though I wanted to at the time. When I do think of them I realize any good thought I may have of them is of the 'grass is always greener...' variety. Not every day is a good day, but it is a good life.
*So you've come to Breaktime to look for a meek, quiet, subservient, non-judgmental, "Stand By Your Man" kind of gal......where do i sign up?
*i ...where do i sign up? Now that's got me terrorfied.b : )Hey Dan-O, big mouths run in the fambly ? heheheb : )
*Keith C, sounds like the beginnings of a new thread. A good one at that!
