I found the ad in FHB and checked out the web site $1050.00/alot of money. Nice machine!

They sent me literature awhile back. Didn't get my money.
PAHS Designer/Builder- Bury it!
I have used one numerous times. They are great because it gives a really tight fit that can be pulled apart if nessasary(without glue of course) Hoffman made them for picture frames and they are also great for face frame construction. Suprisingly strong. Like the Keller jig, once you have one you find all sorts of reasones to use it. Also great for joining handrail. However if your parts are compound cuts then you would need to make a jig and that can be a pita. Not really a site tool but small enough that you could bring it along.
Thanks reinvent, I'm waiting for them to send some information.

Brewester,
I bought one about 6 years ago, it's very accurate and easy to use. If you do a lot of miter or face frame work it's the ticket, nothing else even comes close. I developed custom jigs that allow me to splice and join curved segments to straight sections. The best part is the keys are removable so you can test fit your joints in the shop disassemble and re assemble on the jobsite for a perfect fit. All of my projects are delivered pre-finished so it's nice to be able to assemble sections on site and really have them fit. At over 2 grand cost of the machine is a bit pricey but considering how well it works I would have to say I don't regret spending the money.
Hi Armin do you have any pictures?
Thanks
Bruce
Pictures of the machine or pictures or the dude in operation?
Hi there, any pictures would be helpful. since I have yet to see one in operation, I'm not sure how they work/router table or how you line up to cut the dovetail. The accessories seem pricey!
Thanks
Bruce
Brew,
I'll post some detailed pic's as soon as I get to use the machine on a project. Since it could be a while I'll start a new related thread.
As for the accessories seem pricey! I really don't know since I made all my own jigs to conform to my method of maddness. I'll look through my stash of photos to see if I have anything that might be of use to you.
Armin, thanks alot. Let me know when you post.
