BECAUSE OF SUCH TIGHT BUILDINGS (SEALING EVERY CRACK WITH FOAM), VAPOR BARRIERS, HIGH EFFICIENCY HVAC, AND MAKE-UP AIR UNITS, WHY NOT USE THE TYVEK ATTIC WRAP TO COMPLETE THE “SYSTEM” IF INSTALLED PROPERLY …TO ME … IT MAKES SENSE. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

What is Tyvek attic wrap? Never heard of it.
.
Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.
I've seen it advertised...looks like a new use for the same old tyvek.. I had my doubts...
I think there are several better ways to do the job.
Are you meaning to wrap the house wrap up around the roof, or up and under? IOW, over or under the roof deck?
Those places that require that you have a vented roof will, of course, not allow either installation (or will make you hoop jump for variances).
"Draft sealing" the roof deck only makes sense (to me) if you move the insulation from the ceiling to the roof surface, too. If so, then, to my thinking, you have to have an infiltration barrier at your moisture/vapor barrier plane.
Now, just draft sealing an attic actually might add some problems. You'd then be "adding" the attic to any leaks/penetrations through the ceiling plane.
More details, perhaps?
