bought a utica 125,000 hot water boiler with honeywell vr8200h gas valve set up for natural gas. i bought the liquid propane conversion kit to adapt it for lp. according to the directions that came with the conversion kit the natural gas orefice just pops out when you remove the pilot compression fitting and you just drop in the smaller orefice for the lp gas. this is the first time i’ve ever converted one of these gas valves and i can’t seem to “pop” out the old orefice. is there some trick to this or is the gas valve “only” for natural gas ?

1/4 turn clockwise.. tip the valve so gravity will help it pop out...
