It gets so hot in Bakersfield I've seen a rubber hose crawl up to get in the shade of a chain link fence!
LOL, Bakersfield, where Mick ran twently red lights.
When we finished the house and I saw the size of their kid, I insisted that the clients give Big Boy Bubba a room on the bottom floor................(see pic)
Wow, that must have been some party!
Didn't the 3 stooges build a house like that once?
Ahh... the 'Little Stockholm' section of San Antonio!
Do you think they will like it?
The clients live in Mississippi, they returned home just before we started painting.
They told me they wanted something bright and cheerful, and would leave color selection up to me.
We originally sprayed with blue. It was not bright and cheerful enough, but thought the bushes looked good in blue so we left them that way. Also, we did not think the bushes looked natural in bright purple.
The specs only allowed for two exterior colors, but I used three. Do you guys think I should charge them extra, or just let it be a surpise and gift on my part?
The colors served two purposes, painting the house and giving me more colors in my washing machine (see my post "cleaning roller naps").

He told me he worked at a junk yard, could not afford me to finish and would do his own roofing and siding.
btw ... there used to be a great diner down the street from the beer can house.
if it's still there ... I still recommend it!
