Here in Muskoka the debate continues on the hot roof vs. vented roof in cathedral ceilings. I am beginning a renovation/addition where the existing rafters are 2×6. Blowing foam insulation would be the easiest way to get maximum r value but are there any major concerns regarding condensation, ice build up or asphalt shingle life?
