A friend has a hot water radiant baseboad panel installed during a high end renovation that is integrated into the baseboard molding. That is, instead of projecting out from the wall, and “becoming” the baseboard, these units are very low profile and appear to be part of the baseboard, so that the look of the room is fairly consistent between areas where there is heat (outside walls) and where there is not (interior walls).
I do remember he indicated that the units were quite expensive. Anybody have any idea of who manufactures units like these? I don’t see this friend that often, and he doesn’t remember the name.

SLANTFIN is a company that makes them also.

What is the per foot pricing? Any idea?
Last time I checked I heard that
the old baseray was about 30 a foot.
Seems to me this is an updated sort of
baseray.
I have no idea what a baseray is. It's been a few years since a bought slantfin so I have no idea what the price is. Just remember that the slant fin COVER goes from wall to wall and looks like a big baseboard which covers all the piping but the radiator fin part only takes up a part. In other words: you might have 40 feet of baseboard cover but only 6 feet of heating radiator. It all looks like radiator but it isn't.

Mine were made by Radiant Technologies a company in Long Island N.Y.. Probably they were made elsewhere and labeled by them. Most of the ones I have seen look exactly the same.
I don't know if that company is still around, I will look at a control panel and see if there is a phone # tonight.
