Stone masons laid arch over front entry to make it even on both sides they cut the stone with diamond blade now most of the arch stones are smooth while rest of stone has texture. I was thinking about spraying with acid to etch in some texture. I can’t use a hammer or grinder because I’m afraid of breaking the bond.

Do you know a good artist who can operate a sandblaster ?
Hire them, and give them a few scrap pieces of the smooth cut stuff to practice on first.
