Anyone know if there is a way to figure out how deep concrete piles are? I mean without actually digging to the bottom.

I recently had a seismic test done to determine the depth of piles on a combined elevated/subway structure. The pile tips are about 50' below the surface. If there is access to the top of the pile the test is straight forward. There is added costs if a deep pit is required to access the pile cap. I don't have a cost handy. My test was for a small section of $500 Billion tunnel project so the testing outfit's invoice was passed through as an expense. Contact your local concrete testing lab to see if they do this kind of work or have a reference.

There were a couple of legit suggestions (I think). I guess I asked for it.
