Was on the JLC site and saw a recent posting that Home Depot discontinued carrying the makita 15 amp AVT recip saw and marked them down to $99. Of course I missed it. Did anyone catch it?

SAW it this weekend but have three and don't want another. Wel four if you count the Bosch one hand jobber that take jigsaw blades, any body remember them It reminds me of the new Ridgid one hander or maybe it is the other way around, I don,t know, it's Monday, cold and the drvie home with the heat on wiped me out. I did get a Milwaukee corded hachet there a few months back for 49.99. They also have a Bosch Jigsaw, not the real good one, with a free orbital sander for 109.
Yup, saw them on the clearance rack. I only had $150 in my pocket or I would have got one.
I saw it this weekend, actually had in the cart, then put it back b/c I just don't need another one.
There we go with that "need" term again!....
yeah, I know... my mistake...
my local has four available at $99
For those who are thinking of making the purchase, I've never bought a Makita that I didn't like!
Well, that's certainly true.
Forrest - have some blue
Saw it at $129 ... prior to the $99 posting ... wanted a orbital. Questioned the speed dial (tight) and it's location (inside the grip area). Was that saw always made in China? Been using the #6523 Milwaukee ... own a #6509 but that Makita's got me straying...
