I just built a couple exterior entry doors. I have a door jamb for them. The doors now need to be cut down on the long edges.
Is there a standard measurement to take off. I read 9/32 in one book (divided between the two.) Does that sound about right?

If you took off one-fourth of 9/32 from each long edge, that would leave 1/16 gap at the jambs and 1/8" in the middle. Sounds about right ... maybe a little less in the middle.
