Good Sunday morning all!
I am working to close in this gable on an outdoor patio. I picked up 7/16″ OSB board to clad, but am wondering if I went heavier than necessary. I am a bit concerned about weight on this span, will be cladding both the inside and outside. Framed it 16″OC. Intend to side it with the Vinyl -cedar shake-ish stuff. Should I stick with the 7/16″? Is there a minimum? Would 1/4 work without warping?
Any help would be appreciated

Keeping HVAC systems within the conditioned enclosure can be tough without a basement; one option is to use plenum trusses for the roof, which offer a space for equipment and ductwork.

7/16" will be fine and provide a lot of strength
That's fine.
