   Sorry to hear that Don

   The quirks are hard to take I agree-the aggravation is discouraging.

   What pises me off the most is the lack of any answer or attempt at correction.

   The only thing that caught any attention was piffins midnight Larry-izing of the board.

   I'd surely hate to see that tactic again.

   There are so few posts here it shouldn't take a single moderator more than a few hours a day to read everything new and chuck it if it's really spam or inapropriate -  makes no sense to me why the spam filter even exists.

   I missed what Piffin did :)    Crafty and made his point I'm sure :)

   I guess so, can't say that it did much of what it was supposed to.

   It was done in the "larry martin" flavor-spamming the board with gibberish.

   But it did move a woman named Gina to start to do something.  However, that quickly waned and by the way-it was about the very same thing you've been hit with-the spam filter.

   So to me it was more of the "much ado about nothing", that some English playwrite wrote about a long time ago.

   There is an active thread titled SPAM???

   that one of the editors picked up on and is whitelisting people who ask him to. 

   I still don't understand why they spam filter isn't set up to look at the user's identity, their time of membership, and number of posts, and let the long term poster post what they want. 

   I want some info similar to yours on software recomendations to use with both the apple phone, and a pc.  But can't start a thread because it is spam.

   There's a lot of guys using iphones at JLC - they had all sorts of suggestions regarding cases.

   The S P A M filter

   I recently got through the spam filter by s p a c i n g  o u t  w o r d s   I thought were responsible for getting my (legitimate) message snagged by the filter.  Made it hard to read, I guess, but the message got posted, at any rate.

   I attempted to post a legitimate question and got hit with the filter. Asked for help twice and still got no resolution. I just gave up and will not post any new threads.
