So much for doing a good deed. The gang is out to church and errands till well after noon. I figured I’d change the water in the fishbowl. All’s going well until my daughter’s sort-of-beloved beta fish jumps out of the net as I’m transfering it to the temp bowl, flops right into the sink, slips down a crack between the bowl and the drain and disappears. With water running, there’s no chance to save it from the trap. Oops. Dad’s in big trouble now.
So, would you:
A) Apologize and be done with it, and make up a bed in the guest room
B) Run to the fish store and get a replacement on the QT
C) Do nothing and say, “what fish?”
D) _________
