Hi guys, I am a small GC and I last week I was on the job working with two other GCs (it was one guy’s house). The other guy left two cut off pieces of 1X cedar with 10 or 12d galvy nails sticking straight up on the ground. I stepped on one, bled like a stuck pig (it went in deep) and am now out of work for the second day and my foot is still swollen. I don’t want to have to sue the guy(s), but I may end up losing significant income here. What should I do. I know there are some great legal minds out there!
Thanks for the help! My idea: either ask them for some compensation, or take them to small claims court. He left the nails sticking up there for some time and then asked me to help him out on something and boom.
