I am looking for some advice regarding the type of foundation for a walkout basement. I am leaning towards putting in an ICF foundation by IntegraSpec we are building in Ontario 1 hour west of Ottawa.
As my foundation is a walkout and my front wall will be framed will I hit the diminishing rate of returns with the R value factor by installing ICF? Is it worth the extra cost of ICF vs. conventional pour?
As well, if consensus is to go with ICF for the foundation, should this be expanded to the main floor? The final build will be a bungalow with a walkout. Square footage 2300 not including the basement, property is on the lake.
Any advice suggestions are welcome, and if anyone knows an installer in my area pass that along also!
Thanks.

I have a walkout with ICF and use ICFs in other jobs
My next house ( for myself) will be all ICF
If I were you, that would be my choice
