I have what appears to be a brass drainage system that goes from the house to the sewer line. Is it within the plumbing code to make an in ground repair? Is a no-Hub connector the way to do it?
thanks, Charles

If it is indeed brass, you might consider tearing it out selling the scrap metal and puting in a new pipe.
Seriously a no-hub can be used on brass. It is more likely cu DWV which can be sweated or repaired with a no-hub.
