I plan on installing the Focal Point Polymer Versailles Cornice moulding and because of its size, approximately 7 x 7 inches, I need a mitre box that can handle the large moulding. Does anybody sell a large wood mitre box with a handsaw and what is the best way to deal with the seams because it only comes in 6′ 6″ length? What is the best filler or caulking to make the seams invisible? I will use polyurethane adhesive and nail gun to fasten the moulding. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
P.S. It is recommended that moulding be cut 1/4″ longer so you can spring it in place but with this particular moulding there is no give.

We did an article in the magazine back in issue 128 (pg. 116) that covered installing synthetic crown molding. That particular product was also made by Focal Point. I hope that helps.
