I have a60year oldhouse.The ceilingsin the rooms on the top floor ninic the roofline outside.Their is 2by 8 roof rafters with no insulation inbetween them.Also no soffit vents.I can access some of the roof space and wouldlike to install blue styrene panels between the joists.Then lay a sheet of styrene across the entire ceiling then drywall over everything..Leaving a 5 inch space between this and the roof.Also then putting in soffit vents and ridge vent.Does anyone have an opinion on this?
