I have a customer who wants his attic space cooler. The home is quite new is has customary blown-in insulation in the ceiling of the living space, but he wants batts placed between the rafters in the attic as well. The house already has soffit and ridge vents, plus a power vent through the roof. I’m not sure whether or not the roof insulation is a good idea. Any suggestions?
