Hello,
I have a 1921 1.5 story bungalow in Minneapolis. I have three doors upstairs that access three seperate attic areas. They are all apx 30″ wide between 3-5′ tall, and uninsulated.
I was thinking of gluing some sort of foam board to the attic side of the doors. Any other ideas? Is this OK per code (fire issues?). What would be the best type of foam for this kind of application?
Thanks,
Erik

Thanks, excellent link. There seem to be several types of ridgid insulation (fiberglass, differnt types of foam). Which would be best for this application? Oh, and if I put ridgid over all the kneewall studs (attic side), they don't need to be covered for fire code?
